In this video, we have news from Retro-bit from CES 2019 and the return of Metal Storm for the NES!

In December, 2017 Retro-bit made a huge announcement when they revealed that both Holy Diver and Super R-Type/R-Type 3 were being reproduced in officially licensed cartridges with IREM's blessing. Fast forward just over a year and Retro-Bit, IREM, Castlemania Games, and, for the first time, Limited Run Games will be expanding the lineup. For the first time in almost 30-years, Metal Storm, one of the most popular games of all time for the NES, is being re-released.

Unlike the Holy Diver and R-Type Returns, per Retro-bit's Twitter account: Exclusively available online at Castlemania and Limited Run Games

It appears there will be two different boxes and cover arts, depending on where you order the set from. Pricing is still to be determined, but I would expect it to be at a similar price to the other collector's sets.

This story is currently breaking, stay tuned for more information.
