Nintendo Announces Super Mario Red & Blue 35th Anniversary Edition Switch! #Shorts

In this YouTube short episode, we share some the news of a new 35th Anniversary Super Mario Brothers Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has done a good job of commemorating the 35th anniversary of our favorite plumber. From Super Mario kart live, Super Mario 3D all stars, collectible coins, and Super Mario 35th, they have really gone all out. Well I thought they had gone all out, but now they have absolutely raised the bar.

As the 35th anniversary of Mario comes to a close, Nintendo is releasing a version of the Switch that is themed in Mario red and blue. The Switch itself features a red front and back, a red dock, blue joy-con grip, red joy-cons, and blue wrist straps. In addition, there is an all new case being included, featuring icons and logos from Mario printed on it. And to wrap everything up, Nintendo is even including a screen protector right in the box!

This Limited Edition Switch will be retailing for $299.99 here in the USA, the same price as a standard Switch. Every indication is that this is the same version with the enhanced battery life as we've had for well over a year at this point. When you factor in the value of the case and the screen protector, this is the best value for those looking to buy a Switch. The only thing that is keeping me from plunking down my money on this, and I love me some Super Mario, is the prospects of a 4K Switch coming sometime in 2021. Beyond that, this looks like an amazing piece, for fans of Super Mario, the Switch, and Nintendo.
