Over the last five to 10 years, Hyperkin has made quite a name for themselves. From clone consoles, accessories, and controllers, Hyperkin has been cranking out product after product for a variety of different systems. As such, I have been lucky to get to know Terence, the public relations specialist for the company. I've interviewed him in the past at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and have found him to be a genuinely likable and knowledgeable individual.

Over the course of the past few years, Hyperkin has announced a number of interesting products. Some have seen rather quick releases, things like the Retron 2 HD and Retron 3 HD, well others have seen significant delays since they're announcement, things like the x88, x86, and HDMI equipped Nintendo 64 clone.

Hyperkin has been getting a lot of news over the last two weeks or so due to reviewers, myself included, pointing out some pretty significant issues with their latest release, the Hyperkin Retron SQ. As such, I thought it was the perfect time to have Terrence on the channel to discuss this console, and other things going on inside the Hyperkin Labs.

I hope you enjoy the interview as it goes down, and stay tuned as we will be editing and posting different segments from this interview over the coming days. Also, thank you to Hyperkin and Terrence for being available to this Channel and our viewers to answer our questions.
