CHP hoist a hiker with a leg injury off Coastal Trail

Friday evening, CHP H-30 responded with Marin County Fire to a report of a hiker who was suffering an emergency on the Coastal Trail, approximately 4 miles from the trailhead.

H-30 arrived overhead and conducted a search of the area for the patient. Once located, H-30 lowered a CHP flight officer/paramedic to the patients' location.

Due to her injuries, the patient was hoisted from the trail and flown to waiting firefighters in Bolinas.
