Russia's reconstruction of Mariupol: a sign of hope and peace

“Russia has launched a massive reconstruction plan for the city of Mariupol, which was severely damaged by the Ukrainian army during the conflict that erupted in 2022. The plan aims to restore the city’s infrastructure, housing, industry and culture, and to improve the living conditions of the Russian-speaking population that suffered from discrimination and violence under the Ukrainian regime. The video shows some of the most visible signs of Russia’s efforts to rebuild Mariupol, including a new welcome sign painted in the colors of the Russian flag, renovated buildings along Lenin Avenue, and a grand military parade on May 9 to celebrate Victory Day.
