This week was the 20th anniversary of the illegal occupation and invasion of Iraq. Memories of that era. Yes, you're already highlighting it. We talked about this. In the run-up to the Iraq War following 9 11, some people were venerated. Obviously, this guy was venerated during the War. He got on a flight deck and donned an outfit. And this is George W bush this was an action figure that was made of George W bush with a collapse there he is. He was like an I'm a jet fighter. And here I'm on he flew onto an aircraft carrier to announce the mission accomplished. Yes, I still love it. I still feel it was a mission accomplished for him. It was like it was literally within a year not less than a year of the war starting. Mission accomplished. And now we can just stay there for 25 years or something like that. And there was George W Bush. But at least he was the worst we couldn't believe that couldn't be a worse human being than him and Dick Cheney. Can you believe that we thought there were no worse human beings? I couldn't get worse. I'm not convinced that he still isn't the worst. I mean he if you know human life in terms of like you know now he had two if you aggregate that over eight years maybe but he was responsible for the killing of hundreds of thousands of people based on a lie. Of father deserted the people the whenever the first time they went in deserted the people himself. He basically told the Kurds in the north you know to rise up will protect you. And then he was like I mean not protecting you right and then we just decimated their water infrastructure and set instead causing Mass disease for years and years. Well, there was a no-fly zone. I think they put a no-fly zone so nobody could save the people who were being well. And Clinton you know had you know embargoed or you know sanctions and we bombed. I mean it was horrible. Well, what we did to the Iraqi people was horrible. In the run-up to the Iraq War following 911 though other things happened. Like there were icons on the right now. We look at the right today and we go they're insane. But the fact of the matter is they were insane then too. Yes. I give you an exhibit that is a doll of Dennis Miller. This was nice. Where am I going to find this? This was sold everywhere. because he would become such an icon of the right. And it wasn't just like oh well maybe people like this comedy. This was explicitly a propaganda tool. I'm going to hit the button and he's got a series of things that he would talk about. Periodically you need a show s against your enemy because it works. Has anybody seen Gaddafi lately?
