Jaeger: So Akari got confused with the cost of the EMC. Japanese numbers have a special name for 10,000 which is one "man" and when there is 10,000 man (aka 100,000,000) its called one "oku". This can lead to some mistakes when she tries to say numbers in English. The same happens to me when I try to say numbers in Japanese. I end up thinking how many zeros are in 10,000 of 10,000 or how many sets of 10,000 are in numbers like 8,900,000. Calculating currency differences is even worse for us. Something else I realized later is that the medicine shaped missiles could actually be secretly healing the dragon. Then the EDF is reviving the boss quickly until it is so badly damaged it is impossible to resurrect. But that sounds more like a Resident Evil boss setup. It would have been nice if items dropped for each life or a bunch at the end. I think the developers need to hire someone to rework their rewards system. They said in an interview that they tested the game with auto pickup and said it wasn't as enjoyable as the fans imagine. But I remember EDF World Brothers had no armor or weapon drops and it allowed me to replay any mission I wanted without worrying about the boss not dropping anything so I think that is a good start. Maybe a MVP system that rewards bonuses to the player that does the most damage or even just a flat rate of items awarded at the end of the mission with drops being extra. Akari told me the name Glaucus is a name from Greek mythology. I looked it up and it seems like male version of a siren or mermaid and he helps people. My first thought when they were calling the dragon a siren was that it was a female dragon that calls the fishmen monsters based on mating or it is the mother and they are the offspring. But now that they are calling the dragon Glaucus after it transformed it puts a hole in theory. Seems like there is no extra lore there unless it underwent some specific changes to its body when it transformed but that only creates more questions than answers.

Behind the scenes: This video took a bit longer than usual to finish because we tried doing a bulk editing process this time instead of one by one. We wanted to try and the main story finished around the time the first DLC pack released. Only problem was one of the later videos is pretty crazy so it took a while to cut. Even after cutting the video seems like it's going to be at least 20 minutes. Something to look forward to if you like longer videos.

About Our Channel: We are an international married couple that enjoys gaming together. Jaeger was born and raised in the USA and Akari was born and raised in Japan. Both of us have played games throughout our lives and when we met each and started gaming together we had so much more fun together. Unfortunately we had so many great gaming moments together that it became difficult to remember them all. We began saving videos and screenshots as we played together but eventually our storage space started to fill up. So we moved to YouTube where there is plenty of storage and its safe from accidents. The channel name is We as in the English plural pronoun and 笑 read as "wara" for the Japanese kanji for laugh.
