DIY Purse Scarf | Bandeau Twilly for Bags 🔴 LIVE from the Sewing Room

Making a VERY easy & quick sewing project 👜 DIY purse scarf (otherwise known as a "bandeau" or "twilly"). Luxury brands charge upwards of $200 for their versions, typically made out of silk. Mine are going to be made out of rayon, a drapey lightweight woven fabric. You can use similar fabrics for yours in any fun print, but I like rayon because it's fairly durable and can be hand washed.
Finished size approximately 2 x 36 inches (cut fabric 5 x 37 inches with a 1/4 inch seam allowance)
Purse scarves can be wrapped around bag handles, tied in a knot or bow anywhere on a handbag, or used as a typical neck scarf, headband, or hair tie. What a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe!
