CBFC certifies Telegu, Tamil dubs of Nobita Chal Pada Antarctica; Hindi dub of Nobita Chala Chand Pe
The Central Board of Film Certification in India is listing the 37th anime film in the Doraemon franchise, Doraemon The Movie: Nobita Chal Pada Antarctica (Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Nankyoku Kachi Kochi Daibōken), and the 39th film in the Doraemon franchise, Doraemon The Movie: Nobita Chala Chand Pe (Eiga Doraemon no Nobita no Getsumen Tansaki), on its website.

The CBFC certified Telegu and Tamil dubs of Doraemon The Movie: Nobita Chal Pada Antarctica with Roman Hindi Subtitles and the Hindi dub of Doraemon The Movie: Nobita Chala Chand Pe with Roman Hindi Subtitles on Thursday.

Doraemon The Movie: Nobita Chal Pada Antarctica opened in Japan in March 2017.

The film has an original story in which Nobita and his friends find a strange frozen ring, which guides them to Antarctica in search of its owner. There, they stumble upon some ancient ruins and begin an adventure, facing the danger that the Earth may become frozen.

The film features three new characters: Paopao, a mysterious creature that looks just like a creature that appeared in the 2009 film Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Uchū Kaitakushi; Professor Hyakkoi, an old man who arrives on Earth and seeks the ring to save the frozen star Hyōga Hyōga; and Kaara, a mysterious girl who arrives on Earth accompanying Professor Hyakkoi.

Atsushi Takahashi (Blue Exorcist film, Rideback director) directed and scripted the film, and TOHO distributed the film. The film also received a manga adaptation by Shintarō Mugiwara, as well as a Nintendo 3DS game that shipped in the same month as the film's release.
Doraemon The Movie: Nobita Chala Chand Pe opened in Japan in March 2019.

The film's story relates to the Japanese folkloric belief that a rabbit resides on the moon. The film is set on the moon and centers on strong friendships bound together by the "ability to believe." Luna is a mysterious girl who lives on the far side of the moon. Diabolo and his subordinate Goddard stand in the way of Nobita and his friends on their moon exploration journey.

Shinnosuke Yakuwa (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita in the New Haunts of Evil - Peko and the Five Explorers) directed the film, which is his first work directing from an original script. Naoki Prize-winning mystery author Midzuki Tsujimura (Tsunagu, Kagami no Kojō) wrote the script, and she also wrote a novel adaptation, which debuted in November 2018. Dai Hirai performed the theme song "The Gift."
