Method 1

Update the game.

Some problems can be fix with just a simple update. Developer’s are diligently making Dead cells better. Check if there is one

Method 2

Update Graphics card drivers

Graphics card update may help in fixing the problem. Dead Cells is a new game it is not fully tested will all the Graphics card that are currently available in the market. Also updates lets the manufacturer tweak their product a little bit. Links are at the description.

Scan for viruses

Viruses may cause different errors on your PC and use some resources that may cause Dead Cells to malfunction

Reduce graphics
Un tick Enable Vsync, Bright flashes, Pixel font

Close running application

Close all un necessary application that may interfere with the game especially Google Chrome. Google chrome is a great browser but a bit of resource hog. Most of the time the game run smooth when Google chrome is close. I tested it a couple of times and it 9/10 it works fine.

Tweak Dead Cells using
Nvidia Control Panel
Click “Start”
Click “Control Panel”
Click “NVIDIA Control Panel”
Click “Program Settings”
Search for the name of the game “Dead cells”
Tweak the graphics here
Close the Nvidia Control Panel and Start Dead Cells

Use CHKDSK to scan for disk error. Bad block may cause crash and lag.
