Would it surprise you to know that the gatekeepers of free speech, aka “fact checkers,” have zero qualifications to justify their position of power?

They are not scientists. They are not journalists. They are not trained researchers. No degree or real-world experience is needed to be a fact checker. All that’s required is a willingness to place profit over people.

Case in point: Snopes’ lead researcher was a Las Vegas call girl before being anointed as their arbiter of truth and fiction. Yes, really!
