Louie very rarely purrs, and when he does it's almost silent. You can just feel it. Must be a side effect of being abandoned and having to figure out how to survive in the streets on his own. Clarence on the other hand does purr audibly. But everything has to be quiet and you have to REALLY listen for it. Here's me in bed noticing he was purring and I tried to get some of it on video for posterity.
