Why was Jesus always courting controversy?

The coming of Jesus was a wonderful event, and it would signify the beginning of peace and happiness for humankind, according to Luke 2:14.

However, when Jesus actually started preaching, things started to become the opposite of peaceful. His message divided the country, enraged its leaders, and eventually got him killed.

How could such a holy person cause all this controversy? That's what we'll find out today.
