DEI, the political agenda taking over MPS! HIGHLIGHTS of the March 20, 2023 School Board Meeting

When Midland Public Schools committed to a DEI initiative they welcomed this attention and now when the false virtues of diversity, equity and inclusion aren't being pushed on every student the woke speakers come out to complain and try to blame others. The Voices of our Community Event was made opt-in for Jefferson Middle School 8th graders and ultimately postponed due to low participation, the public commenters showed up by the dozen to share their anger and tell the administration which 'voices' they deem acceptable. Is forced coercion is the same as inclusion? Does diversity only go as deep as race and ignore ideology? And does equity give them room to engineer the outcome?
