LIVING IN HOG HEAVEN -- A 7 DAY TRIP INCLUDING: CREEK BACKPACKING, CANYON CAMPING, WILD TROUT FISHING AND 5 STAR CATCH N' COOK FISH MEALS.

I did this awesome adventure with a channel fan, Colton and his dog, Bandit. We started our backpack hike going up a beautiful gorge along a desert stream with countless stunning waterfalls. After many rugged trail miles we set up our first overnight camp.

Up at dawn to angle for the little indigenous Gila trout. Catching 35 tiny ones and deep fry cooking one for dinner.

Time to move on, hiking through gorgeous scenery to another forest camp along a great river. Discovering this remote place has bear, mountain lion, wolf and coyote and adjusting to their home.

The next morning, after brown trout with no luck for 12 hours and then finally two nice fish with one being a big fat toad. We finished the night off next to a calming campfire.

Up with the sun to eat beer batter fish and chips for breakfast, this made us very happy!
Then more lucky angling for us fishermen, 2 more wigglers for another excellent deep fried feast.

Can it get any better? The next morn we began fishing and continued all day, catching two more. This time we had a fish fry with tempura batter and eating them was amazing!

Our trek out was fun. Along the way we had a crazy find. We made good time and finished at the trailhead.

I give these adventures a 10 and we're never bored!
