In this study we are introducing the book. Looking at the historical, literary, and theological background of Nahum.

Nahum is an often neglected book. But it’s an important book that contains eschatological overtones and prophetic truths for us individually as well as the days in which we live.

Nahum is tied to the books of Jonah and Habakkuk, both literarily and thematically.

John also draws on Nahum’s description of the destruction of Nineveh in his famous vision of Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17 and 18.
