Buddy The Dog Upstages Baby Max

Info from Licensor: "Dog upstages baby. The video was made by chance. Like all excited new parents, we video Baby Max all the time. I saw it as a nice encounter between Baby Max and his dad so was already videoing when Buddy Dog joined in unexpectedly."

We got Buddy Dog (now 3yrs old, border collie x Kelpie) in April 2021 during covid lockdown. He sadly developed an injury in his leg when he was 5 months old needing an operation followed by crate rest. To keep him occupied without exercise, we started teaching him toy names and other tricks which didn’t need much movement (eg. “Give me five”!). He now knows lots of tricks and over 100 toy names and is part of the Genius Dog Project for word learning dogs, run by Budapest university. He loves tricks and toys and anything using his brain!

Our human baby (Max) was born in June last year and Buddy LOVES him. Baby Max is now 8 months old. Wherever Baby Max is, Buddy is - he always wants to join in whatever is going on (and show him up!!).
