Dallas Driver Leads DPS Troopers on High-Speed Pursuit During OLS

A human smuggler led DPS Troopers on a high-speed vehicle pursuit on US-90 in Kinney County. The driver, from Dallas, first allowed five illegal immigrants to bail out and then continued to evade Troopers.

He eventually bailed out into the brush before being apprehended. The driver is charged with evading arrest and smuggling of persons. The five illegal immigrants were referred to Border Patrol.
