Anhinga Dries Off by The Lagoon 🦩 03/22/23 15:08

At the lagoon we find an Anhinga drying off after a swim. Unlike wading birds, Anhingas can dive and swim and are often seen with only their necks above water, resembling a snake which is how they acquired the Brazilian name Anhinga meaning Snake Bird.
