BYE-RUT: Lebanese protestors STORM governmental headquarters and are met with tear gas by cops in Beirut, in response to deteriorating economic conditions caused by US regional economic pressure campaign and mismanagement of Central Bank authorities, plunging vast majority of the population into poverty.

The Lebanese lira, in freefall since 2019, made another steep dip to 150,000 lira to one dollar on Monday - one hundredth the value of the previous peg that fixed the dollar at 1,500 Lebanese lira from 1997 to 2019.
