The Mandalorian - s3e4 - 'The Foundling' - FlashReview - SPOILERS

SPOILERS AHEAD
Episode 4 of season 3 of The Mandalorian, 'The Foundling', shows us how Din Djarin and Bo-Katan are gelling with the Armourer's covert. After training Grogu to use paintball darts, the son of Paz Viszla is grabbed by a flying creature and carried off to its nest. A team, led by Bo-Katan, head out and eventually catch up with it. Luckily, the kid is fine, despite being swallowed by the beast for a lengthy period of time. Meanwhile, The Armourer fashions Grogu a beskar medallion for some reason. I guess he's not ready for the helmet yet... During this time, Grogu has a flashback to the Jedis and Naboo soldiers that saved him during Order 66.
This is an example of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni playing with their action figures in a literal sandbox. Clocking in at less than thirty minutes (excluding credits), this was a slight affair, the best part being Ahmed Best portraying a heroic Jedi saving a thirty-year-younger-yet-looking-the-same-as-he-does-now Grogu from clone troopers. Even this cool segment cannot save this episode from getting only 6/10.
