‘For environment and human lives, it’s dangerous’ – Konstantin Gavrilov on UK toxic ammo supplies

The UK has announced that it will supply Ukraine with toxic, uranium-laden ammunition – known for turning former combat zones into uninhabitable wastelands. Following Russia’s vow that it will react accordingly, London has said that such ammo supplies will not lead to a nuclear escalation of the conflict.

We discussed the situation with Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation at talks in Vienna on military security and arms control.
