This Arrest for Trump involves the matter of Habeas Corpus.
First of all, the indictment is not an arrest warrant. A warrant for arrest would have to be filed and sent to the governor of New York, who would have to issue a Governor’s Warrant to Governor DeSantis, who would have to accept the Warrant in order for Trump to be extradited to New York.
DeSantis has already stated that the case against Trump is bogus. DeSantis can issue an Application for Writ of Habeas Corpus as an effort to validate the claims against Trump.
Habeas Corpus is the most important matter facing the nation. Was Habeas Corpus ever reinstated after President Lincoln suspended it in 1863? That question needs to be answered first.
Secondly, President Trump issued a declaration that we are at war, so even if Habeas Corpus had been reinstated, President Trump’s Executive Order suspended it again. So, New York cannot issue the indictment because the Military is the only one who has lawful authority.
