Easily Brighten your Home without Breaking the Bank (Not Woodworking)

After all the home improvement we did to our last house the first thing we noticed when we bought this new place was how dark all the rooms were. We have Hunter and Hampton Bay ceiling fans in almost all the rooms and I knew I could get new fans that had a better light kit. BUT, you can get a light kit for $30-40 and easily brighten your home for a fraction of the cost of replacing the fans.

I found these particular Hunter fan kits at Menards but I have gotten similar ones at the Home Depot.

I am sharing this video not because this is a difficult process but because I didn't know about the retrofit kits until my dad told me he had seen them before. I searched around but was not able to find a 4 bulb kit until stumbling across it one day. I hope this quite DIY video helps a few people out!
