Exodus 15:22-26 ( ESV & WEB ) ~ Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. When they came to Marah, they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah. And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” And he cried to Yahweh ( aka God ), and Yahweh showed him a tree and he threw it into the waters and the waters became sweet. There Yahweh ( YHWH ) made for them a statute and a rule, and there he tested them, saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your Elohim, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians for I am Yahweh, your healer.”

Straitway Life Bible Commentary From a Hebrew Roots Perspective For 03/21/2023. During our Israelite ( aka Messianic ) wilderness journey between spiritual Egypt and the promised land, will we experience troubles, hardships, and testing? What should the believer in Yahshua ( aka Yeshua / Jesus Christ ) do when they are faced with a crisis during their walk of faith? Should believers in Messiah grumble, complain, and become bitter during times of trial and tribulation? What did Moses do in the wilderness when there was a lack of water? Why do so many diseases plague the body of Messiah today since Yahweh Elohim ( God ) is our healer? Today's Hebrew Roots teaching is a preparatory message for this year's Passover 2023 and Feast of Unleavened Bread 2023 holy day season. All true members of Yahweh's Assembly in Yahshua should meditate on the content of today's preaching sermon in order to be prepared to partake of the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread that follows. Welcome one and all, friends, and saints of the Most High YAH. We greet you in the mighty and precious name of Yahshua the Messiah ( aka Yeshua / Jesus Christ ). We are a part of Believing Yisrael ( The Israel of God ) teaching the pure and unadulterated word of Almighty Yahweh ( YHWH ) from both the Hebrew and New Testament scriptures. Psalm 68:4 (NKJV) reads: "Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him". By keeping His Torah as the Holy Spirit leads ( honoring His commands ) and imitating the living Torah ( Messiah Yahshua ), we show our love for our great Elohim. Yahweh's grace given to us through our savior and redeemer Yahshua ( aka Yeshua ) does not give us license to continue practicing sin ( the breaking of His laws ). 1 John 2:3-4 reads: "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says I know Him, and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him". HalleluYAH
