Ann Widdecombe: "The Conservatives are not conservative, nor are they unionist"

Ann Widdecombe made a public announcement yesterday, stating that she had joined Reform UK with the intention of dismantling the Conservatives, who she believes have betrayed the Union.

According to her, the Windsor Framework, Rishi Sunak's Brexit deal, has resulted in a situation where a part of the UK, Northern Ireland, is still governed by those in Brussels, which is a violation of the Act of Union.

She further commented that the UK has a "red party" and a "pale pink party," but the Conservatives are nowhere to be found. In her opinion, the Conservatives cannot be considered conservative or unionist.
