Day 2/21 John Chapter 2 The Wedding at Cana

Chp. 2 Three Key Points

1) The miracle at the wedding in Cana: John 2:1-11 describes Jesus' first miracle, where he turned water into wine at a wedding feast in Cana. This miracle reveals Jesus' divine power and also sets the stage for his ministry.

2) The cleansing of the temple: In John 2:13-22, Jesus drives out the merchants and money changers from the temple in Jerusalem. This action shows his zeal for God's house and his authority as the Son of God.

3) Jesus' knowledge and understanding: In John 2:23-25, it says that many people believed in Jesus because of the signs he performed, but Jesus did not entrust himself to them because he knew their hearts. This passage emphasizes Jesus' knowledge and understanding, and his ability to see beyond surface-level faith to the heart of the matter.
