EU pledges $1.07 bln to help rebuild quake-hit Turkey

The head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday (March 20) that the EU executive will give $1.07 billion ($1 bln euros) to help with post-earthquake reconstruction in Turkey.
