Speaker McCarthy: 'Stop going after people because you have political differences'

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy delivered remarks at a press conference Monday over the looming Trump lawsuit. Giving his legal opinion on the situation, Rep. McCarthy essentially stated that all Americans should be treated equally when it comes to the law.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy, (R-CA): "It doesn't matter what side of the issue you're on. It doesn't matter if this was President Trump or if this was a Democrat. It should be equal justice in America and stop going after people because you have political differences."
