Old Man reacts to Bob Dylan's Brownsville Girl (1986)

I am bringing this reaction video from last September over as another of my YouTube "Greatest Hits." This video has had over 2,000 views and continues to average over 100 views a week which is quite unusual on You Tube. Normally most of a video's views will come in the first week or two after publication, but Dylan's songs seem to be the exception to that rule.

This little known masterpiece came out in 1986 in one of Dylan's least popular albums, "Knocked out loaded." It was based on the old Woody Guthrie son "Danville Girl." Dylan started working on it in 1984 originally calling it "New Danville Girl." He decided not to put it on the 1985 album "Empire Burlesque," but instead reworked the song with the help of playwright and actor Sam Shepherd, eventually changing the name.
