Bankers, Central Bankers and Regulators are scrambling behind the scenes to contain the financial contagion in what has become a global bank run. Despite repeated statements of assurance by executives and govt officials, the actions being taken reflect panic among US and European leadership. A deal was announced today for UBS to takeover Credit Suisse (under extremely questionable legal circumstances) and there are rumors that Warren Buffett is in talks to shore up Regional US Banks.
