What makes Simping island so unique is the fact that it is the World's Smallest Island. This has been recorded by the United Nations (UN), and thus its existence as the world's smallest island is recognized by the international community, as seen a on the status board of the island, right on the bridge crossing to the island. Simping island actually consists of sand and rocks overgrown with some trees on it. This tiny island also has beautiful views of the beach, sea and surrounding hills. It is therefore not surprising that, although very small, the island is never short of visitors.
