Pence Would Make A Deal With The Devil Again

For all the moral proselytizing that Christian fundamentalists like Mike Pence espouse their principles are actually very shallow. In 2016, Pence told his supporters to overlook all of Trump's moral failings and vote for him so they could accomplish what they wanted. He would make the same deal again in a heartbeat.

Yeah, Pence is certainly the former not the latter what a morally vapid charlatan. Two things are going on with Pence with that one. Emma made this point earlier. No cameras at the Gridiron where he said this so only the people really looking for him to say this. Are going to be saved, and their need can't be used in a commercial against them. You know Donald Trump would be like his legacy doesn't do it on TV it doesn't matter. I had to read it. I didn't know I was aware of it. The other thing is this is completely fundamentalist he's not talking about history. He's talking about the afterlife God and God. and that is going to be sufficient. That is almost like the worst thing. You could see that it doesn't matter what we do here on this planet ladies and gentlemen to Donald Trump on January 6th. If you think January 6 was bad and you are one of my Christian fundamentalist followers and I say history we'll take care of it. what I really mean as you know is that God will take care of it. it'll all get sorted out. and that is far worse than anything that I could do. So isn't that so ironic too when you hear about the moral failing of America and people falling away from religion? And how the left they're hedonistic and have no connection to family and traditional morality. when you're that far gone and you're right-wing Evangelical your moral code is basically determined as the ends justify the means when you're here on this planet. And you could do whatever you need to do to serve God. But the left is untethered to Morality. It's crazy. I mean that's what Pence's entire backing of Trump was. He is an imperfect vessel for G for Jesus and God. Donald Trump, he's you know uncouth but I'm going to back him because the ends justify the means. He will get into office and deliver for the evangelicals with the court system. And he literally did that with Roe v Wade. He did. So from Mike Pence's perspective, there's absolutely no incongruence there. Done. Well, he also doesn't believe in anything. No, but it just is something to note when we're talking about right-wing kind of projection. Like they're untethered from a moral code because they have a belief in something that you know is larger than them. Well, they don't need a moral code. Well yeah. right because of God. Because God. will they have a religious code. That's what I mean. In fact, that's their argument. I mean Prager has made this argument many times. without religion, there is no moral code.
