Welcome to my channel! Today, I'm excited to take you on a journey to explore one of the most beautiful and unexplored tourist destinations in Pakistan - the Chakwal Canyons and Dharabi Lake.
Located in the district of Chakwal in Punjab province, Pakistan, this region is surrounded by stunning mountains and offers breathtaking views of the landscape. To reach these beautiful and unexplored picnic points, you can travel to Chakwal on Lahore-Islamabad M2 motorway. We took the exit at Chakwal interchange and our first stop was Dharabi Lake - a serene man-made lake.

The road to this beautiful lake starts from the motorway exit. Check out the time-lapse video of the road to this lake. It will give you a better idea of the road and surrounding. Once we reached the lake, we found that you can also stay in the PTDC rest house. Enjoy the aerial view of this lake. The lake was created by damming a small stream and has become a popular spot for picnics, boating, fishing, and hiking. You can take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the tranquil environment as you explore the area. However, I do recommend that you be mindful of the environmental issues that the lake has faced in recent years and make sure to dispose of your trash properly. The lake is also surrounded by several trekking trails, which offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Our next stop is the Chakwal Canyons. These canyons are a natural formation of rocky cliffs and gorges, which have been carved over millions of years by the river. Did you know that the Chakwal Canyons are home to a variety of rare plant and animal species? The region is also rich in minerals, including limestone, coal, and gypsum. The canyons are also home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, foxes, and jackals.

If you're looking for an adventure off the beaten path, the Chakwal Canyons and Dharabi Lake are a must-visit destination. Come and explore the natural beauty of this unexplored region of Pakistan. Don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel for more travel content.
