GREYLAG GEESE

The biggest species of geese found in the UK is the greylag. They may grow to 1.6 meters in wingspan and up to 3.5 kg in weight. These birds may be seen often in rivers, reservoirs, and ponds in urban parks. They can be found in most wetland settings. They will also move away from the river at night, onto fields and meadows, in quest of food.
