Hebrews 11:32-38 "Faith In The Good Times And Bad"

The author of Hebrews explains that circumstances and their outcomes don't determine our faith. Our faith remains steadfast no matter the outcomes. The men and women mentioned in this chapter either overcame their circumstances or went through it and suffered. Many false teachers in the church today proclaim "prosperity" which is good health, money, and success, and if you don't have these things it is because you do not have enough faith or that you sinned. These verses in chapter 11 "put to bed" all those false teachings and show that men and women of faith may endure sufferings and even death if the Lord so chooses.
