This is something that I did not know about Satisfactory until over 100 hours in the game. Thanks to chat during a livestream on Twitch, we figured it out.

Thought I'd share this with everyone and maybe help a couple people ready to move on from fighting with the creatures. Likely someone that has fully explored the map.

Go to advanced settings, click creatures, and then adjust the setting from default to either passive or retaliate. That easy. Then apply the change. GET BACK TO BUILDING!
