Origins:
1-Middle 1/3 of the Anterior Surface of the Fibula
2-Middle 1/3 of the Interosseous Membrane

Insertion:
Base of the Distal Phalanx of the Big (1st) Toe

Functions:
1-Extension of the 1st Toe @ the MTP & and IP Joints
2-Dorsal Flexion of the Foot @ the Ankle Joint
3-Inversion of the Foot @ the Subtalar Joint

Nerve:
Deep Fibular (Peroneal) Nerve

Activation: (Supine) Extension of the 1st Toe @ IP with Dorsal Flexion and Inversion of the Foot
Lengthening: (Supine) Flexion of the 1st Toe @ IP with Plantar Flexion and Eversion of the Foot
