The Euphrates River & the Mountain of Gold - Minor Signs of the Day of Judgment 05

Aboo Hurayrah said in the hadeeth narrated by Al-Bukhaariyy and Muslim that the Messenger of Allaah Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam said:

لا تقومُ الساعةُ حتى يحسرَ الفراتُ عن جبلٍ من ذهبٍ ، يقتتلُ الناسُ عليه ، فيُقتلُ من كلِّ مائةٍ تسعةٌ وتسعونَ، و يقول كلُّ رجلٍ منهم: لعلي أكونُ أنا الذي أنجو

“The Hour will not take place until the Euphrates river recedes, revealing a mountain of gold for which many people kill each other. Out of every 100 people, 99 would be killed, and each one amongst them says, “Maybe I will be the one who survives”.
