From In-House To Outpost

Jesus Christ never intended for His people to stay still, stay small, or stay quiet. His plan from the beginning was to advance, grow, expand, and claim the territory that rightfully belongs to Him. For over a decade, the early Church did not intentionally strategize for proactive growth beyond Jerusalem and Judea. While the fires of persecution helped move Christians forward from their original home base in Jerusalem, very little is seen that gives evidence to the early Christians intentionally reaching out beyond their comfort zone. Then, at the church at Antioch, God declared it was time for the church to cross the point of no return. With one command, Holy Spirit initiated the work of the early believers to begin planting Kingdom outposts. From this day until now, King Jesus is still calling local churches to embrace this type of intentional mission to advance His Kingdom. How does a local church do this? Antioch holds the keys for any church to move from remaining in-house to becoming a committed Kingdom Outpost.
