Red 40 is actually a toxin created by an insect that is harmful for mammals. Just like Chitin, that is also in insects that is harmful to mammals. We aren't supposed to eat these. Or nature wouldn't have made it harmful for our consumption.

Red 40 is insects and its in countless foods and drinks like anything "berry flavored" is not actually from berries but insects. Also insects are ridden with parasites. There is no knowing what these parasites will do to our bodies.
Do not eat insects, ever. You aren't a reptilian. You are human. Insects diet isn't for you. Not even in small quantities.

Read labels. Better yet, do not consume anything pre-made that doesn't come from the Earth.
Which are most chips and snacks. You can make snacks from scratch at home. The internet is full of recipes. Our ancestors ate clean and we need to as well. Big Food Industry is laden with toxic ingredients and are in on the depop agenda.
