Hawaii bike-packing day 5 (Sleeping at some random spot on the highway) -big island

The plan was to do something with Pour friend in the morning. So we went to a lava tube. It was however unfortunately closed.
We played some cards back at the camp. And packed up our stuff preparing to leave.

Preston (our friend) decided to drive around the island with his rental truck. And we went on our way. We drove through Hilo, my brother had some issues with his bike. Since he has tubeless tires the person who did it before didn't do it correct. The bike store we went to said how to fix it and we did so.
We biked to some grocery stores and a farmers market.

After that we biked to a nice beach we planned to stay at. It would have been nice but it was not accessible by bike. So we continued on our way. It started to get dark and just at that time I got a flat. Some piece of metal got in my tire. It caused us to stop. And the spot was a good spot to stop. So we set up camp on the side of the road which was a big spot.
Was a little nervous doing so but all went well.
