There will be two parts to this video, this is part one. In the two videos I will basically go through how I installed the window on my giant 550 gallon aquaponic fish tank. It is an extra cost and a bit pricey for the window but I thought it would be cool to have. And without the window it would be hard for people to see inside the giant tank.

Tools needed for installing the window:
1) The window kit and all the nuts and bolts.
2) Screw driver
3) Drill
4) Wrench (I used a 7/16 wrench)
5) Drill bits (1/4 inch and 7/32 bit)
6) Hole saw (I used a 1 3/4 inch hole saw)
5) Level
6) Knife
7) Sand paper (i used 240 grit)
8) File
9) Jigsaw
10) Pencil or Marker
11) Vacuum cleaner (for cleaning up plastic particles)
12) Paper towel
13) Rubbing alcohol and water

Directions on how to install the window:
1) Inspect the window to make sure it came in good condition. ( I did this after cutting and drilling the holes. But better to do it first)
2) Determine the spot you want the window to be installed.
3) Use the window and the 1/4" drill bit to drill the first hole in the tank. Start with the top of the window. (There were 14 holes going across so just pick one of the 2 middle holes)
4) After you drill the first hole insert a bolt through the window hole and the tank hole. (Top of the window)
5) Use the level to level the window and determine where to drill the second hole. This is at the bottom of the window.
6) Take the window of the tank (do this carefully)
7) Put the window sheet on the inside of the tank. Use the two holes you just drilled and bolt it in place.
(Either have someone help you with this next part or do it your self)
8) Drill the other holes from within the tank. Start at the center and move out. Rotate from the top to the bottom. insert the bolts and put the nuts on so that the window is held in place. This way you can get the window on with no problems.
9) Take the nuts and bolts of and remove the window.
10) Insert a few bolts to help you draw the line where you will cut.
11) Make sure it is 1 inch or more gap between where you will cut and where the holes are drilled.
12) Use a hole saw to drill the four corners of where you will be cutting.
13) Use the jigsaw to cut out the window
14) Clean the surface around where you drilled the holes to prepare for installing the window. (this allows the gasket to work most effectively)
