Hawaii bike-packing day 9 (last full day on the big island) -big island

12 miles
Biking time 9:00 am-12:30 am
Went to Costco on the way, to get some food for dinner.
Biked to Kailua beach. Very nice place but there were lots of flies. Listened to a book walked around and relaxed. Seeing if it is a good place to sleep for the night.

Went to a near by pier to hang out with Preston he did some fishing and we watched. But he had no luck.
Went to a park near the beach to work out but there was a bunch of kids so we sat in the grass and listened to a book.
Set up our tent at the park and hoped for the best.
