Hawaii bike-packing day 12 (Haleakala national park) -Maui

14 miles
biking time 9:20 am to 11:00 am

We took showers in the morning and ate a nice breakfast.
Went down to the black sand beach to take some pictures.
The bike ride was not long and not tough. But for some reason today just felt like a drag to bike. We both just had no motivation to bike, where as the other day it was fun. So we were lucky it was only 14 miles. On the way we saw multiple waterfalls which is also a reason we didn't bother doing a hike to see another waterfall.
The campsite was a national park so we got free entrance with the national park card we have. Which also gave us free camping.

We felt pretty tired when we arrived. Sat down for a little bit and ate some peanut butter sandwiches. After that we relaxed, sat down, listened to a book, took some pictures and set up our tent.
We did an hour workout today as well. It is tough to work out here but we were able to do 30 minutes of push ups and 30 minutes of dips. No need for leg workouts since we are biking.
