We hope you learn something from this Basic Civilian's Guide to CQB.
Note a lot of the B roll use is from a CQB class that was taught so these are students in the process of learning, so go easy on the mistakes they make. Feedback is very welcome in the comment section. So if you disagree with something lay it out maybe we missed something.
We have seen a huge rise in average folks wanting to understand CQB and this is the reason we wanted to share our experience.

Garret is a Master Class USPSA competitor & retired 11bravo (infantry). He received his formal CQB foundation while serving in the United States Army, back in 2016. He has continued to pursue additional education from his time in the military to present day civilian and is always on the hunt for new techniques & methodology from qualified subject matter experts with various experience conducting CQB/CQC operations and training curriculums.

Ryan is LE and has been formally trained by his department in CQB. This is not to say they have the most knowledge possible, simply to provide some background. Ryan has also attended various levels of firearms, force on force, and close quarter combat certification courses. We are starting to see an increase in law enforcement officers and other duty professionals pursue additional training to supplement their organizations shortfalls in regards to funding or having access to continuing education programs.

The Team at ETG is incredibly thankful and honored to partner and host seasoned instructors from the following communities.

Ranger Regiment
SWAT
Navy Special Warfare
Conventional Army
Local Law Enforcement
