The situation in the first century church was unique. War was coming to Jerusalem and times were troubled. Many claim this as motivation for believers to sell possessions and have "all things common" but Scripture tells us the real reason. They were all of one mind and soul. These believers were 'all in' as committed servants of the gospel. Nothing else mattered.
