I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the Gene Haas Center for Manufacturing Innovation Greenville Technical College at CU-ICAR facility today in Greenville SC. This is a fantastic asset to aid in training employees for industry jobs in the surrounding areas. There were literally tons of CNC machines. Mostly Haas but there were a few others. There are labs for pneumatics, hydraulics, mechatronics, additive manufacturing (3D printing), grinding, factory automation, robotics and more. They're even working on an incubator setup for startups. You can learn more about the center at the link below.
