Look Like Jesus-Righteous Hatred?

Today’s Question: Righteous Hatred?
Do we really celebrate remembrances of evil? Why do we remember evil days? Aren’t we supposed to love, not hate?
A strange thought popped into my head today. Remembrance of evil. Why do we do it? like December 7th: the day pearl harbor was destroyed. Everyone says to remember it. Yet when they say that it stirs up anger and hate. When they say remember the Alamo, that stirs up hate and anger. It’s like those in power want to destroy each other, not make things better. So are we really ruled by love these days as we claim? Or do we still encourage hate and anger? Does God not say to let it go? I know there is a song that speaks of hate, saying "Who taught you how to hate? It isn’t in your blood, not a part of what you’re made." I think that is biblically accurate. For God did not design us for hate. He made us for and out of love. Now if we say learn from the Alamo, and December seventh, that’s a whole new idea and perspective of things. I ask this because I woke up full of hate and anger this morning, and said that’s evil, for God doesn’t encourage hate. So I’ve been trying to let it go, and let God work through me. Trying to see what His message is in all this is hard so I prayed, and still feel no answers I understand have come. So what does the bible say about hate, and how to let it go? and what does everyone else think?
