Iraq War Tribute - All Along the Watchtower

As an isolationist in regards to foreign policy, I think the Iraq War was an awful policy decision by the Bush administration. I think that we need a strong military, but a military that stays at home and does not interfere with foreign affairs.

That being said, I have deep compassion and empathy for the men and women who fought in Iraq. I wish they were not ordered to attack Iraq, but I can understand and respect that they went through difficult and trying times throughout the war.

All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix has become an anthem of the Vietnam War and era, so I think it is fitting for the War in Iraq as well.

My prayer is that our politicians and leaders make choices that bring us further from war and not closer.
